Amos Earl Lawrence, Jr. better known to many as “AJ” was born at Upson Regional Hosptial in Thomaston, Georgia on December 16, 1991 with Carolyn Byrd Lawrence & Amos Earl Lawrence, Sr. as his parents. “AJ” grew up in Taylor County and attended the public schools there until he later transferred to Peach County High School where he graduated with the Class of 2010. He furthered his studies at Fort Valley State University.
He joined work force at the Blue Bird Body Company with their Engineering Department. “AJ” was ambitious and had goals and dreams. He set his sails for entrepreneurship and he started AJ’s Home Inspecting Service.
“AJ” was built with a spirit of determination and never gave up no matter what life may have thrown him. He faced life challenges as all human mankind does “AJ” was a good soldier on life’s battlefield . He fought a good fight and he won the victory over every earthly trial on Good Friday March 29, 2024, as his soul and body said it’s time for a new life where I can be free of pain and disappointment.
“AJ” had a heart of gold that captivated the hearts of many who knew him and was touched by his immeasurable life. He was so adventurous he loved racing and his car of choice was a Camaro. He loved to travel and go places. He was a nature born foodie he loved good eating. Family time was always dear to him loving on his parents & siblings was a must. Growing up on the farm he never forgot what his parents instilled him as he would often help with the family farm, he was blessed to learn an artform that is not practiced by many young men his age today, what a family legacy to have inherited. “AJ” was a animal lover his dog of choice was a Cane-Corso. “AJ” living was not in vain he lived life as it was given and that life will never be forgotten by his family who truly loved him.
“AJ” is survived by his parents Carolyn Byrd Lawrence and Amos Lawrence, Sr. both of Reynolds, Ga.; his Sisters who loved their brother Ariel (Travanti) Harrell of Kathleen, GA. Chaley (Jamaeil) Watson of Fort Valley, GA.; Grandmother Moree Lawrence, Hartford, Connecticut and his nieces and nephew who he regarded as his own Jada Lawrence, Harmony Taylor, and Isaiah Watson, a devoted cousin Barbara Nelson Reynolds, GA.
“AJ” acquired an enumeral number of friends that was very dear that will never forget their friendship of a life time. “AJ” leaves a host of other dear family members who will keep his memory alive for years to come.
