HOUSE of TOWNS MORTUARY - Announces funeral services for Mr. Anthony Drains age 59 a resident of Butler, Ga. Services are Saturday March 14, 2020 at 12noon at Mount Sinai Baptist Church in Repert, Ga Taylor County. Burial to follow in the Essie Mc Dougald Cemetery Butler, Ga Railroad Street. Repast to follow at the Francis Towns Event Center located at Mason Lane in Butler. Public viewing on Friday March 13, 2020 from 11am to 7pm. Remains will be in-state at the church until time of service. Anthony known as "Ole Man" to many loved driving trucks. It was he greatest passion. He served his country in the US Army he was a Pvt2. A quiet no non sense man loved his grandchildren. Among his many hobbies were bowling, grilling out, watching all sports he loved football & basketball. In Anthony's life he had many set backs in his health but he never gave up the will to fight another day. He over came many challenges. His demise came as he did what he loved Saturday March 7, 2020 he took flight to another life God promised those who would love him. He survived by 2 sons and 2 boys he reared as his own. Sister Debra Drains Biggs, Harold (Faye) Drains, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives & friends.
