Betty Sue Ross

Betty Sue Nelson Ross was born on March 2, 1943 in Buena Vista, Georgia to the parentage of Ouida Williams Nelson and James Nelson, Sr. 

Bettiy grew up and attended the public schools of Taylor County. Betty Sue was fun loving and full of life and loved to have fun with her family and friends. She met and married Johnny Oscar Ross.  Dancing was her favorite thing to do it was her happy place. When She was not cutting the rug she was Cooking up her favorite meals. She was known for her delicious meals. Betty was a hard worker and worked for years as a domestic engineer she could engineer a home singled handed by herself. On life’s journey Bettie felt the need for a greater connection of her faith. She join the fellowship at Welcome Home Baptist Church. Betty loved her faith and flowers, cultivating a flower garden and seeing its beauty brought her joy.  Betty Sue creations of sewing was always a great joy of her’s.

Betty Sue was predeceased by Alfonzo Nelson, Bobby Nelson, Linwood Nelson, Kennth Nelson, Janice Nelson, Phebe Booker, Kathy Nelson

Betty Sue Leaves to cherish her memory: Children: Dianne “Pebble” Ross, Geraldine Iheme, Leunich “Sissy” Prince, Shondra “Sacred” Middlebrook, Brother: Bubba Nelson, Randell “Juke” Nelson, Jurdis Nelson, Sister: Faye Draines, Athea Green, Sister-in-law Mae Lizzie (Bobby) Turner, Alice Nell Nelson, Erma Jean Ross, Rosa Beard, Carolyn Tigerner, Brother-in-law Leroy (Linda) Ross Granddaughters: Janet, Debbie, Marilyn, Audrey, Melissa, Remay, 8 grandchildren, 11grwat grandchildren a host of neices, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.
