Bobby was born on May 1, 1952 in Reynolds, Ga. To the parents of Ora Lee Gibson Dugger and J. W. Dugger. He grew up and attended the public schools of Taylor County. At an early age he joined Rocky Mount Baptist Church.
Bobby was a hard worker and was known for his colorful personality he was always laughing and had a good story to tell. He lived for the good times of life. He played hard and worked hard. He worked in many job entities during his life. He worked at Thomaston Mills for many years. He later worked for the Georgia Department of Transportation, he also worked for Suggs Welding Company.
Bobby enjoyed life by finding comfort in the simple things of life. When he was in his own world he enjoyed cheese puff snacks, ice cream, Oreos, fishing, he loved to cook, he was known for his classic trash talk, he never forgot his childhood roots of growing and planting a garden.
Life as we all know is filled with showers of rain sometimes that bring on heartache and pain. Bobby had his share of ups and downs. Booby had some health challenges as we all do, but Bobby traded all that in on July 18, 2024 for a life of rest at the end of the sunset. Bobby has joined those who preceded him in death: Ora & J.W. Dugger, Choice Dugger, W. T. Dugger, Johnny Dugger, Christine Dugger Thomas, K. C. Jones
Bobby’s immeasurable life will be remembered by: his loving son Moses Jones, brothers: JD (Mary Nell) Dugger Jimmy (Martha) Dugger, Frank James Dugger, Henry (Helen) Dugger Sisters: Helen Mathis, Betty Davis, Dortha ( Johnny) Jenkins Mary Joiner, and one granddaughter Coreianna Jones, Sherry Lee Dugger Walker (Johnny Hamilton) whom he regarded as a daughter, a Good friend Catherine Newberry and a host of devoted friends Marcus “Pookie” Dugger, Rickey Beckcom, Rickey Banks, Chad Hicks, Reechie Tookes, Sherman Nelson, QuaNessa Ogburn and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.
