Brenda “Bren” Troutman was born in the Panhandle Community of Reynolds, Georgia in Taylor County on December 16, 1956. She attended the public schools of Taylor County. Brenda worked for the Roberta Nursing Home for 21 years in dietary services upon her retirement. At an early age she joined the Little Union CME Church where she was baptized.
Bren was known as loving, caring, mother. She was also known as a caring grandmother, great-grandmother and friend she loved to play cards with family and friends. She loved to sit on the porch with friends. She enjoyed talking junk to family and friends who came around “what ever came up came out “
Bren was preceded in death by her mother Frances Elizabeth Beeks and father John Henry Mathis and her sister Mary Ann Thomas and K. C. Jones
She will be missed and loved by her survivors: her daughters Markela Mathis, Unastacia Willis. Brothers Gary (Kim) Mathis, John Henry ( Joanne) Mathis, Kelvin (Vanita ) Beeks, Dexter ( Tina) Beeks, one Aunt Beverley (Dennis) Sanders, three grandchildren Britney Sanders, Cordero Sanders and Khloe’ Willis, Four Great Grandchildren Aja’anna Sanders Kason Sanders, Ejypt Simpson, Zhoe McKeller. In addition she will be missed by her neices nephews, cousins, other relatives and a very devoted companion James Al Wallace, friends and four devoted friends Angela Perry, Jeanette Hicks, and Marisa Walton, Katrina Ross and also a devoted god child Amauri Harris.
