Dorothy Jean Garmon

Ms Dorothy Jean Garmon was born September 6, 1951 to the parentage of the late Ollie Garmon and Liza Jones. She was born in Charing, Georgia. Dorothy was caretaker for many families. She also reared many children for the Peacock family, Dollie Jo Barrow family and the Reddish family.

Dorothy enjoyed life. She had a quiet spirit. She spent time shopping. Watching TV was one of her favorite pastime. Her favorite love of all was eating at Piccadilly. But, her sons were her motivation for life.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sons- Nathan Garmon and David Garmon; other family members Erma Jean Wright, Mary Davis, O. L. Garmon, Jimmie Garmon, Jessie Clarence Garmon and Tina Wright.

She leaves to cherish her memory: son, Ray Charles Garmon of Butler, Ga.; brother and sister: Willie Garmon, Macon, Ga. and Annie Garmon of Buena Vista, Ga.; niece- JoAnne Montgomery of Butler, Shameka “Bam” Renee, one grandchild, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
