Earl Lee Wimberly, a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away at his residence on November 29, 2023. He was surrounded by his loving family and friends during his final moments. Earl's departure leaves a void in our hearts, but his memory will forever be cherished.
Born on October 19, 1970, in Gordon, Georgia, to the parents of Mary Diane Smallwood Wimberly and The Late Henry Lee Wimberly. Earl brought joy and laughter to those around him throughout his life He had a great sense of humor that could brighten even the darkest days. Earl's infectious laughter was a constant reminder of the power of positivity.
Being a painter by profession, Earl expressed his creativity through colors and brushstrokes. His artistic talent was evident as he brought life to countless canvases. Through his work as a painter, Earl left behind beautiful pieces of art that will continue to inspire and captivate audiences.
Earl's true passion in life was spending time with his family. He was a devoted father who cherished every moment with his children and grandchildren. Nothing brought him greater joy than watching them grow and thrive. Earl's love for his family knew no bounds, and he always went above and beyond to ensure their happiness.
In addition to being a dedicated family man, Earl had several hobbies and interests that brought him immense pleasure. He enjoyed collecting old model trucks and would spend hours meticulously restoring them to their former glory. Alongside this hobby, music held a special place in Earl's heart. He had an affinity for the timeless tunes of Hank Williams Jr., which he would listen to with great delight.
On December 6, 2023, we will gather the Family Cemetery in Maukin Mail, GA to honor Earl's life with a graveside service. The service will commence at 2:00 PM and conclude at 3:00 PM. It is an opportunity for us to reflect on the memories we shared with Earl and find solace in each other's presence.
Earl will forever be remembered by his sons: Earl Wimberly Jr., Quinton Wimberly, Aaron Wimberly, and Justin Green. His daughters, Jennifer Wimberly and Sheena Lewis, will hold his memory close to their hearts. Earl is also survived by his brother, Johnathan Wimberly, and his sisters Cutina Wimberly and Caroline Wimberly. Additionally, he leaves behind his significant other, Jennifer Green. Together, they formed a strong support system for Earl throughout his life's journey.
During this difficult time, let us find solace in the memories we shared with Earl Lee Wimberly. He was a loving father, a caring grandfather, and a loyal friend. His legacy of love, laughter, and creativity will forever remain in our hearts. May he rest in peace eternally.
