Jackie Louise Davis-Turner was born December 8, 1963 to the parentage of the late Doris Louise Wilcher and the late FrankinT. Davis. She grew up in Reynolds, Ga. and was surrounded with a loving family. She learned the value of working hard early in life. She valued and loved her family and friends.
Jackie was a graduate of Taylor County High School class of 1982. She was a God fearing woman who loved her children, grandchildren, and especially her weekly Captain D’s date with her grandchildren.
Jackie was a “White Diamonds Girl.” That was her favorite perfume. She spent time doing her favorite things which included: cooking, eating fish, FaceTiming her grandbabies and watching The Big Bang Theory.
She was employed by the Taylor County Sheriff Department for 24 years as a Jailor, where she served as an inspiration and spiritual support for inmates and coworkers. You could also get delicious meals from Papa’s Place where she worked diligently for 36 years.
On August 7, 2020, God sent an angel as Jackie transitioned from earthly labors to eternal rest at Pine Pointe Hospice in Macon, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Tommy E. Davis.
Jackie leaves her greatest treasures to cherish her memory: her daughters: Jernasha (Joseph) Flanigan, Gabrielle (Peirre) Jones, Lequisha Turner; siblings: Judy Davis, Rodney Davis; aunts and uncles: Sam Terrell, Jr., Rebecca Terrell, Shirley Terrell, Helen Harp, Noretha Troutman, Martha Etheridge, Alice Davis, Mattie Wilcher; nieces and nephews: Diquasha Davis-Williams, Rodney Carson, Dieisha Davis, Denyate Davis, Tamika Davis,Fredrick and the father of her children Nathan Turner.
Her special friends include: Evangelist Jeanette Stubbs, Milton Allen, Yogi Patel, Jay Patel, JuJu Patel and Lisa Patel.
