The beautiful life of Janice Walker Woodall began on October 7, 1964 in Thomaston, Georgia with Martha Richardson Walker and Johnny E. walker, Jr. as her parents.
Janice was a smart intuitive young girl who was eager to learn new things she excelled as a student in the public schools of Upson County. As a student Janice enjoyed being in the mighty General Lee Marching Band. She graduated from R. E. Lee High School in 1981.
Janice was a very ambitious woman who had goals and dreams for herself. She learned early in life that hard work and dedication was the key to successful a life. Janice was not afraid of work, rolling up her sleeves and diving in was her approach to any task. She found the right fit that motivated her at Quad Graphics a magazine production company. Seeing her handy work was an encouragement to her, after serving her tenure there.
She met and married the love of her life Christopher Woodall in whom she would build a loving supportive and strong bond with.
She later joined the Ms. Betty’s Fried Chicken team where she soon rose to top in a management position. She proved herself as trustworthy and could handle herself well in any leadership role. One could always find her as a friendly welcoming face as she made the guest feel appreciated as they were served.
Janice knew faith was important and was a member of St. Mary’s AME Church of Thomaston where she lived out her faith. After relocating to the Butler area she continued her faith with the believers at St. Phillip AME Church.
Family was truly the heartbeat of her life. It was the very thing that kept her going in-spite of whatever she would face.
Janice had many battles in life She learned one would win some and loose some. She learned that if one lost it meant one live to fight on another day. Janice won her last battle bravely as any giant could. Janice crossed that finishing line on Monday morning before day when she traded it all in to receive a greater reward that was known to any mankind.
Janice was preceded in death by her brothers James Walker, Terrance Walker
