The beautiful life of Jennifer Bunkley begin on a Thursday December 7, 1961 in Butler, Georgia with the late Carolyn Peebles Bunkley and the late Earnest Bunkley as her mother and father.
As the years would rolled by Jennifer would fondly be called “Arleen” it was a name that stuck and became the staple of how she was known, Arleen Bunkley. She attended the public schools of Taylor County by matriculating through the halls of R. L. McDougal High.
Arleen was an industrial woman who was not afraid of hard work. She was self willed, determined, straight forward in her thinking and actions. Arleen was an individual you never had to wonder where she was coming because she was outspoken and clear in her thoughts, so you would clearly know. Arleen worked in serval job vocations she loved the health care field as she care for those in need of care at the Roberta Nursing Home and Taylor County Health & Rehabilitation Service Center. She later dedicated her devotion to the Taylor County School District as she served with the support staff of the school.
Arleen loved life and lived it to the fullest she loved fun and good times with family and friends. Arlern could be found doing her favorite things like gardening, and cooking. She was known for cutting a rug, she was lite on her feet as she loved to dance. She had a favorite song that exemplified who she was by Anthony Hamilton “Best of Me” and everyone who knew her knew she gave the best of herself to others.
Arleen found faith and contentment in her belief in Jesus Christ as her savior. Arleen made this confession at the First Baptist Church in junction City, Ga. Where she served under the leadership of Rev. Ricky Wright.
Arleen was preceded in death by her parents, son Pedequarn Bunkley, two sisters-in-laws Mary Ann Bunkley and Zelma Bunkley.
Arleen was called to meet her maker on February 2, 2025 following a brief illness. She transitioned at Houston Medical Center Warner Robins, Ga.
Left to cherish this awesome radiant life are her children: Antonio (Renee) Bunkley, Travies Bunkley, Robert Bunkley, Tameka (Jerome) Harrison, Siblings: Earnest Bunkley, Jr. Clifford (Tina) Bunkley, Ronnie Bunkley, Donnie (Rhonda) Bunkley, Audrey Chambliss, Marilyn Reeves, Dianne Ross-Little. Special friend Bernard Robinson, 17grandchildren, 3 Great Grandchildren and a host of neices, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends who will miss this beautiful soul.
