Lucille Dean Trice was born on July 2, 1922 in Talbot County to the parents of the late Sarah Fobbs and the late Jim Dean. she grew up attended the public schools of Talbot county. She was a domestic engineer her management skills to operate a home was second to none.
Lucille was marred to the late Grady Trice, Jr. and to the Union six children were born three of which preceded her in death Willie Trice, Sr. Georgia Lee Beauford and Kevin Trice.
Over a century of living 102 years to be exact. Mother Lucille was fondly called “BigMa” because she loved and nurtured so many children in around her neighborhood. The door to BigMa home was open to all who needed her. Her home was the central kitchen of the neighborhood where all were sure to always get a hot meal. Her generosity will be missed by all.
She leave to cherish her radiant memory: a loving daughter Clara (Richard) Terrell, two sons Grady ( Louise) Trice, Eddie (Catherine) Trice. She reared several grandchildren as her own Vinson Trice, Marquavious Trice, Kevin “Man” Johnson, Brenda Cook. She leaves a long list of generations to carry on her legacy 34 grandchildren, 100+ great grandchildren, 80+ great great grandchildren. Two grandchildren that were her dedicated caregivers in the end were Sharita Trice and Jereca French, her bonus children Mrs. Quincy Edge, Mrs. Shirley Warrior, Mr. Thorton Marshsall, Mr. Cecil Copeland, Mr. Eric Trice , a host of neices, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.
