Patricia Jones Colbert

Patricia Jones Colbert was born to the parents of the late Armanda Raines and the late James Maines on April 5, 1948 in Roberta Georgia. As a little girl Patricia Lived in a home full of love and care. Morris Jones reared Patricia as his own daughter that he loved and adored.

She attended the public schools Crawford county. At an very young age she confess her love for Jesus and joined the Olive Grove Baptist Church.

It was during Pat’s formative years she work as a mail carrier with the postal service and later she did Guest Services at Holiday Inn. Patricia unwavering spirit to share kindness reached to everyone she met. In each community that Pat called home was sure to gain her friends with her radiant spirit. As Pat grew into her years of maturity and wisdom she would be found reading her bible in which she found great solace and comfort.

It is said that all good things must come to an end. Patricia’s earthly life ended as she walked behind the curtain of life to exchange this life for one of peace on January 15, 2025 at Fairview Hospital in Dublin, Georgia. 

Patricia was preceded in death by Homer Davison “Jap” Jones jr, Richard Jones, Yvonne Jones. 

Left to cherish her remarkable life are her loving children Jonathan Colbert, Jr. Culloden, Ga. Demarcus Colbert Warner Robins, Ga. Tony Moss, Jr. Macon, Ga. Tonya (Shamarcus) Robertson Warner Robins, Ga. Brothers & Sisters Mary (Jeff) Kirk, Jessie James (Carrie) Maines, Jr. Teresa (Alfred) Daniely, Willie Frank (Alisha) Maines, Ethel Maines, Richard Maines, all of Thomaston, Ga. Irene (Lamar) Brooks, Joe Morris ( Malinda) Jones Roberta, Ga.  Joan Robinson, College Park, Ga. Marva (Eddie) Veal, Lithonia Ga. Gerinda Harris Decatur, Ga. Belinda (Calvin) Williams Macon, Ga. Dwight (Terri) Jones Stone Crest, Ga. and 13 Grandchildren, 5 Great Grand Children, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends who loved her dearly and  will remember her remarkable personality.
