Obituary:
Paula Jean Carter, beloved wife, mother, and friend, passed away on March 10, 2024, at the Summerhill Senior Living Community in Perry, Georgia. She was born on January 16, 1946, in New Port, Rhode Island. Paula's journey on this earth came to a peaceful close as she left behind a legacy of love and laughter.
In her essence, Paula was a devoted homebody whose heart found solace within the walls of her cherished abode. Although she seldom wandered far from home, when she did, it was often to nurture the bonds of friendship with those dear to her. Her gentle humor and warm presence lit up the lives of all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Paula's memory will forever be treasured by her surviving family and friends: Cathy (Roger) Booze (daughter), David Trower, Sr. (son), and Michael Trower (son). She is now at rest, reunited with her loved ones who have gone before her. Among those welcoming Paula into eternal peace are Sophia Trower (daughter), Alice McCants (mother), and Ivory Carter (husband).
As we bid farewell to Paula Jean Carter in this realm, let us carry forward the light of her spirit – a beacon of love and kindness that will continue to guide us through the days ahead. In our memories and stories shared with one another, Paula's radiant legacy shall endure for all time.
