Ronnie Carson was born on March 1, 1953 in Reynolds Georgia with Louisiana Williams Carson as his mother. Ronnie was affectionately known and called “Monkey” Ronnie grew up and attended the public schools of Taylor County by enrolling in the W.E. Parker Elementary School in Reynolds, Ga. he matriculated to the R.L. McDougald High School in Butler, Ga. in which she graduated. He farther his studies by embarking on a journey that would display his talents and abilities as a trained and skilled Upholster. 

He would go on open his own Upholstery Shop where he served the needs of the community. In the later years he expanded his business enterprise by erecting a apartment complex to assist people with their housing needs in Reynolds. As times shifted and people were not upholstering Furniture as they once did he find a niche to keep the traditional artform going. Ronnie took the upholstery business in a new direction by including the upholstery of church pews. Throughout the middle Georgia area many of the churches And worship temples are beautified with his craftsmanship. Ronnie made his mark on sand and the work that he has done will continue to speak for him.

Psalms 14:1 says “The fool has said in his heart there is no God” Ronnie was far from a fool Ronnie knew there was a God and he needed God, he joined and connected with the believers at Macedonia Baptist Church in Reynolds, Ga. 

Ronnie had a loving nature. He was quiet, discrete, and often to himself but he was considered a man among men. Ronnie traded this life in on last Wednesday July 24, 2024 for life of peace and eternal rest.

Ronnie was predeceased by his love ones who inspired him: Mother: Louisiana Williams Carson, Brothers: David Carson, Zac Carson, Edward Carson, Uncles: Dan Williams, Willie B. Williams, James Williams, Howard Williams Aunts: Johnnie Mae “Toppie” Williams, and his Godmother Tinie Smith Threats.

Ronnie is survived by those who will remember his radiant spirit: Companion  Lavern Sherten, Niece & Nephew Machele Carson & Michael Carson Sister-in- law Paula Carson, all of Atlanta, Ga. Aunt Doris Williams-Law,Reynolds, Ga.  Cousins Celestine (Charlie) Mathews, Angie Williams-Tybus, Dan “Janga” Williams, Jr., Bonner “Punch” Williams, all Atlanta, Ga. a host of cousins other relatives and friends. Especially his Travel Club Friends he would go on trips, cruises and excursions with.
