Funeral services for  Mr. Wilbert “Sonny Boy”  Green, Sr will be held on Saturday October 22, 2022 at 12noon at Springfield Baptist Church in Reynolds, Ga. Located 24 Fon Carson Ally. Rev. Alvin Turner is Eulogist, burial is to follow in the Little Vine Cemetery ( in the Green family Lot)  in Reynolds, Georgia. Public viewing & visitation is on Friday October 21, 2022 from 11am to 6pm. Sonny Boy as he was affectionately called was known for his quick whit, laughter and fun, he spent his working years as a Truck Driver for several transportation companies such as Kebler, and The Mayflower and others, before full retirement he worked for the city of Lawrencville, Georgia. A native of Reynolds, Georgia and a graduate from the historical R. L. McDougald High School Butler, Georgia. Sonny Boy is survived by his two children Wilbert Green, Jr. of Atlanta, Emberlee Green of Lawrencville, Ga. a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.
