Is a 1990 graduate of Taylor County High School. As a recipient of the Elaine Bryant music scholarship, he furthered his education by attending Gordon Junior College in Barnesville, Georgia. David worked in Human Resources with a substance abuse clinic with the state of Georgia. David is a 1995 graduate from Gupton Jones College Funeral Service in Atlanta, Georgia. David received his GA. Board of Funeral Service license in 1998 and is currently a licensed Embalmer and licensed Funeral Director. His funeral service career has spanned almost three decades where he has served as a trade embalmer for more than eight firms during his career. The vision for HOUSE of TOWNS was conceived from years of hopes and dreams. In 2014, HOUSE of TOWNS opened its doors to the public to render personalized, dignified, and a sacred funeral service to those who were in need. Each year many families rely on David and his staff to create lasting memories and assist them through a very difficult time.
As an active member in his community, David has held numerous offices and positions in many organizations. He was elected and served two terms as a member of the Taylor County Board of Education. David is a proud member of The Georgia Funeral Service Practitioners Association Inc. where he has held offices such as District secretary, state executive secretary, state chaplain, and editor. Presently, he serves as President of the third district of GFSPA. David is also a member of the Academy of Graduate Embalmers of Georgia, The NFD, and MA. When David is not engaged in his funeral services, he is fully immersed in his church work. David is an ordained minister and serves as a pastor of two churches in his hometown. He is affiliated with the General Missionary Baptist Convention of Georgia.
Is a native of Reynolds, GA. She is a 1968 graduate of R.L. McDougald High school. She furthered her studies at the former Upson Technical Training School in Thomaston, Ga. in Nursing Arts. She now resides in Thomaston, Ga. She is a board certified Patient Care Assistant. Having worked in the healthcare field for over 25 years, she brings a wealth of knowledge on how to care for families that are dealing with difficult time. She worked at Spaulding Regional Medical Center, Griffin, Ga., Pine Wood Rehabilitation Services and Elderly Care Assisted Living Center, Macon, Ga. At HOUSE of TOWNS, she serves as the family care coordinator. She is the mother of Owner David Towns.
Is a 1981 graduate of the Taylor County Comprehensive High School. She furthered her Studies at Fort Valley State University in Fort Valley Georgia by earning a bachelor's degree in Zoology. She also earned her Master’s and Educational Specialist Degree from Troy State University. Her 30 year educational career was with the Taylor County School District. Upon retirement she joined the HOUSE of TOWNS Staff and serves as the administrative assistant and family care coordinator. She is a member of the Saint Phillip Community Church where she is the church secretary, sings in the choir, and serves on other committees. Constance is active with the Taylor County School Reunion Committee that provides scholarships for students in the community. Additionally, she serves as a tutor for young children. She brings a wealth of knowledge as an educator and a family root in funeral service. Coming from a family of funeral practitioners, she brings a great amount of knowledge and experience to HOUSE of TOWNS.
Is a Graduate of Taylor County High School. She entered the workforce following high school by joining the team at Piggly Wiggly and serving as a cashier. She worked in various jobs throughout the community. Finally she embarked upon a journey and started her own cleaning service. She is a member of Welcome Home Full Gospel Baptist Church. She brings a wealth of knowledge to the HOUSE of TOWNS experience as she served as a family care coordinator and on the beautification staff.
Is a native of Reynolds Georgia and she is a graduate of the R. L. McDougald High School. Upon completion of high school she furthered her education by attending Fort Valley State University in Fort Valley Georgia. She earned a bachelor's degree in Sociology. Mrs. Marshall would continue her career path in human social services by working with The State of Georgia Middle Flint Division of Human Resources Services. She was a board-certified mental health service provider for three decades. Upon her retirement, she joined the HOUSE of TOWNS staff. She brings her skills of comfort and care to the families we serve as a family care coordinator.
Is a 1968 graduate of R. L. McDougald High School. Upon completion of high school, she enrolled at Upson Technical Training School where she received her certification in secretarial training and bookkeeping. Mabel has had a variety of careers that have utilized her training and education. One of her favorite skills she gained from her beloved mother was the gift of culinary arts. Mabel has been blessed to own two restaurants during her working years. She was the founder and owner of Burk’s Burgers & Mabel’s Country Kitchen. She brings her compassion of serving others to the HOUSE of TOWNS experience by catering to the needs of the families as a family care coordinator.
Is a native of Twiggs County Jeffersonville, Ga. He is a 1994 graduate of Northeast High School. He furthered his studies by attending Fort Valley University majoring in Middle Grades Education and earning a B.A. degree in Middle Grades Education. His educational career spans over 25 years with Bibb County School District. He currently serves as the School Administrative Clerk for L. H. Williams Elementary School Macon, Ga. He is a member of Old Marion Baptist Church in Jeffersonville, Georgia. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the HOUSE of TOWNS experience that each of our families are sure to experience during a service provided by our staff.
Is a 1971 graduate from Peach County High School in Fort Valley Georgia. George attended Fort Valley State University in Fort Valley Georgia. He followed his career aspirations by joining the United States Army. George served for 26 years in the army and the reserve. George made several tours during his military career. He served in Bosnia, Desert Storm and other tours of duty. He is a member of Saint Phillip Community Church where he served as the church treasurer. He is a member of the Prince Hall Lodge Masons of Georgia. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the HOUSE of TOWNS experience. He is married to the lovely Lula McDougald.
Is a native of Butler Georgia and 1982 graduate of Taylor County Comprehensive High School. Upon finishing high school, he entered the workforce by working for his beloved high school as a part of the support team. Over the years he has worked in various positions. He currently works with the maintenance department of the school District and is a certified CDL bus driver for the school District. He is a member of the Mount Sinia Baptist Church where he serves on the Ushers ministry. He also operates Willie’s Mobile Detailing Service. He brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the HOUSE of TOWNS experience as a funeral service personnel and as a detailing specialist.
Is a Morgan County native. He graduated from Morgan High School in 2017. He followed his passion of funeral service and graduated from Gupton Jones College of Funeral Service in Atlanta Georgia in 2023. His future plan is to attend Paine College in the fall of 2023 to pursue a degree in business administration. He is a member of the Holland Springs Baptist Church in Madison Georgia. He is also an ordained Baptist minister. His work ethic from various jobs was sure to make him a well-rounded fit with our team of professionals. With his recent mortuary education, he is sure to bring a ray of new innovative technology to the HOUSE of TOWNS experience.
